Bulk Image Conversion Workflow

A fast process for converting many images with consistent output structure.

1

Group Inputs

Collect related images per campaign/project before uploading so outputs stay organized.

2

Set Shared Rules

Choose output format, quality target, and resize mode once for the entire batch.

3

Export ZIP

Convert all, verify a sample, and download one ZIP for delivery or handoff.

Preflight Checklist

Save time by deciding these things before you start converting.

Target platform

Web, social, product listings, or print. Each has different size and quality expectations.

Output format

JPG for photos, PNG for transparency or text-heavy assets, WebP for modern web performance.

Dimensions

Choose a max width/height so you’re not exporting oversized images that stay heavy.

Quality Control

Spot-check a few files so the whole batch doesn’t need a redo.

Pick “hard” samples

Include at least one image with gradients, one with fine texture, and one with sharp text or edges.

Compare at 100%

Zoom in to check for banding, halos, and blockiness. Adjust quality or format until artifacts disappear.

Export consistently

Once the settings are correct, keep them consistent for the batch so all outputs match.

Organization Tips

Make delivery easier for you and whoever receives the files.

Keep folders grouped

Convert one campaign or project at a time. Mixing unrelated assets is the #1 cause of messy ZIP exports.

Use predictable names

Keep original filenames when possible, and avoid spaces or special characters if files will be used in code.

Verify a sample

Open 2–3 converted images from different parts of the batch before downloading everything.

When you need a smaller web-friendly set, consider resizing first, then lowering quality slightly to hit your performance targets.

If the batch is huge, split it into smaller groups so you can catch issues early and avoid repeating the entire export.

Naming Best Practice

Keep original names enabled to preserve file traceability across teams and revisions.
